Hello and welcome to my page!

 I am a 3rd year medical student and a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Becoming a doctor has been my dream since I was a child, but it wasn’t until college that I found military medicine was my true passion.  I, like many medical students, am your stereotypical ‘Type A personality’ and I like to research and plan before I commit to anything. When I started on my journey to join the Air Force I scoured the internet for anything I could find out about the Health Promotions Scholarship Program (HPSP), and discovered there was very little information to be found!

I started this blog to document my journey along the way and to help others thinking about joining the same career path. Here you will find posts about my journey as a medical student, my experiences in joining and working within the US Air Force, and my other passions I fill my very little free time with!
